About me

James Anderson Brown

I’m a Producer, Writer and Director.

I founded Birmingham's Mockingbird Cinema, helping build an independent home for film and audiences before leaving the venue in 2023.

I trained as a screenwriter through Screen West Midlands and have also worked as a consultant for the Scala project in Worcester. I bring practical exhibition experience, story development and a lifelong commitment to independent film into everything I make.
